Four Winds Policedog Center is a specialized company in the training of various types of service dogs.
We work all over the world for different government agencies. Our customers from America, South America, United Kingdom, Africa and the Middle East desire a total product, and that can certainly be found at Four Winds Policedog Center.
• Explosives detection dogs
• Narcotics detection dogs
• Tracking human scent dogs, Cadaver and Search and Rescue dogs (SAR)
• SWAT Team dogs (Special Forces Dogs)
All our dogs are selected on natural instincts and skills and then classified into one of the above courses. This means all dogs will be trained in total by Four Winds.
Tonnie Boeijen is the CEO and he provides the overall direction, acquisition and is the director of training. He works with his daughter Linda, who is responsible for contracts and finances and further management of the business. Full time employee Ramon Guerain is head trainer and kennel master. We're also working with several high experienced trainers from the Netherlands and abroad. Furthermore, we also recognized an Aequor company to teach students from high school and university.
Four Winds provides not only the dogs but a total product. The dogs are trained in the Netherlands and after the training the dog handlers receive a special course before the dog team really goes to work. It is possible that the course is given in the Netherlands but also on location abroad.
Four Winds also offers high quality training materials, advises in the development of new kennels and supplies all necessary equipment and material. We also provide delivery of specially designed vehicles for transporting the dogs and all other supplies that require the dog teams.
For more information please see “total project organization”.
Especially with new dog units is very important that the teams function well. The dog teams are able to receive several advanced courses to improve the quality of the dog teams. It is also possible that the dog teams will be certified by an independent organization (IPWDA). For more information regarding the certification please click on the “IPWDA logo”.
All these issues make it possible that a highly qualified K-9 Unit is created.
