To provide our clients with high quality trained dogs we continually look for dogs from 10 months to about 2 ½ years, both males and females:
• Mallinoirs
• Dutch Shepherds
• German Shepherds
• Flat Coated Retrievers and Labrador
• German pointer dogs
• Jack Russell terriers - German Hunting Terriers
• Other types of hunting dogs
Furthermore, we look for the following characteristics in a dog:
• Social and stabile behaviour
• High drive and search drive on PVC pipe or ball, both outside and inside
• Free around gunfire
• Possibly a good sharpness, bite and drive for patrol work
Every dog is different and therefore we decide which training is best for the dog. One dog is more suitable for explosives while the other fits better in the narcotics training. Our dogs are trained using natural retrieving instinct and search drive. It does not mean that we only purchase experienced dogs because it is our job to teach the dogs a search pattern, although it is very important the dog wants to search independently.
We have a high interest in young dogs with a previous training in the KNPV, IPO, Schutzhund and Ring sports, but also house dogs that are not suited as pets can be suitable for our training.
All dogs undergo a clinical examination and radiographs of the hips, spine and elbows are made by our professional vet clinic.
